Climate Change is also posing a threat to the world’s freshwater resources, with reduced rainfall in some areas and increased rainfall in others and with the world largest source of freshwater, the arctic regions, facing significant decline over the next 30 years due to global warming.

Diwali Cleaning! #CleanUpCashOut

Diwali cleaning is one of the most serious business and the mothers would rely on us to keep our rooms spick and span atleast at this time of the year. The art of story telling and magics unveiled!

When was the last time your child told you a story? It’s time to unlock their imagination.

This was the interesting idea that Colgate came up with this time to please the kids with the amazing characters from the sea world and unplug their imagination in the best possible ways, and it could be none other than story telling for the children. To my surprise I did not know these packs could unveil the imagination of the kids in the wonderful manner where they would involve themselves in learning in one of the most creative ways where they learnt and played, simultaneously.

Story telling has been a great way of imparting and learning lessons since the times immemorial and it has been proved adequate and apt this time too in the case of my kids. They could link and relate things of real life with the stories that they were building and creating with the amazing packs from Colgate which had several stories weaved into the characters on them. Also, the development of the creativity enabled me to understand the psychology and analysing ability of the kids. 

The children have been playing around with their friends and everyone in the family with these sea world characters on the packs and weaving their amazing world with the stories. One of the story that surprised me was the one related to the depletion of the environment and largely the water bodies. Learning with the pictures, art and craft and graffiti is a great way as this creatures pictures and images into the minds of the children which create a life long learning and last for lifetime. This is a great way to get the child engaged in studying and learning and coming up with their own ideas of development and growth. This is one of the pleasant experience for any parent to see their child growing in a gracious manner that would unveil and discover lots of possibilities and hidden talent in the child.

They should be taught to carry out their works in a disciplined manner understanding the time situations and conditions. It is the responsibility of the parents to not to let children develop any such kind of perceptions and prejudices as this would harm the relationships in their life further, and also that they move ahead independently in life without having to depend on others for their works.

In our day to day life we often come across the perceptions as to a particular task to be done by girls and certain other by boys, which puts shows the falling and failing of society to develop and nurture positive mindsets without holding any prejudices with themselves. An example to quote here would be handling laundry. More often than not, it is considered to be a female's task and the younger children often develops a mindset considering it to be a work to be carried out the females of their family. 

The children should be taught the art of sharing the workload and responsibilities. It is important to set proper examples and role models before them because more often than children learn by seeing and following the footprints of their elders and others around. Thus, to pass the right kind of etiquette and mannerism among the future generations in the family, it is important to begin from the parents and elders in the family by setting up positive examples before the children so that they learn their initial lessons right from their home itself, and breakdown on the prejudices that prevail in the society and step ahead graciously by sharing the load.
